These terms are the agreement between you and the people who run Hound. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.

Using Hound

• You must be at least 13 years old, or older where your country sets a higher age.
• Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• Hound is a fun fitness game. It is not medical advice. Check with a doctor before you start a new exercise routine, and stop if something hurts.

Playing fair

• Do not fake your steps or other activity, or use tools that do.
• Be kind in challenge messages. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour: harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, impersonation or spam.
• Do not try to break, probe or overload the app or its servers, or reach other people's data.

We may remove content, and suspend or close an account, that breaks these rules, without notice.

Reporting and muting

On a challenge's trash-talk wall, tap a message to Mute that person or Report the message. Muting hides their messages from you. A report goes to Hound's admins, who review it and can remove the message or the account. You can delete your own messages by tapping them, and report anything else by contacting us below.

Bones and purchases

Bones are Hound's virtual item. You earn them by playing, and you can buy packs of them as in-app purchases through Apple or Google, which take the payment under their own rules. Bones have no cash value; they cannot be exchanged for money, moved to another account or cashed out, and they only buy things inside the app, such as looks, hound items, Streak Shields and challenge pot entries. Only earned Bones can go into a challenge pot. Purchases of Bones are not refundable except as Apple's or Google's policies allow, and any refund is handled by them. If your account is closed for breaking these rules, unspent Bones are lost.

Your content

What you post stays yours. You allow us to store it and show it to the people you share it with, so the app can work.

Early versions

Hound is still being built, and some versions are early tests. Features can change, and the service can have outages or bugs. We provide it as it is, without promises that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses from using it.

Ending things

You can stop using Hound and delete your account at any time. We can end the service or your access, and we will try to give notice when we can.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so in the app, and using Hound afterwards means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION]. Questions: [CONTACT EMAIL].
