Delete your account

You can delete your Hound account and its data yourself, in the app. This cannot be undone.

In the app

1. Open Hound and go to Settings.
2. Scroll to the Delete account card and tap Delete my account.
3. Confirm. Your account is deleted and you are signed out.

If you can't open the app

Email [CONTACT EMAIL] from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete it and reply to confirm.

What gets deleted

• Your profile, username, email and picture, plus your Bones and cosmetics.
• Your steps, distance and other activity records, and your challenge scores and progress.
• Your friendships and friend requests, your messages, kudos, nudges and games.
• Your push notification address.

What can remain

• Copies in database backups, which expire on our database provider's backup schedule.
• Purchase records that Apple, Google and RevenueCat hold under their own policies and the law.
• Challenges that other people are still playing carry on for them. Ownership passes to one of the other players.
